Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to help analyze how visitors use this site — pages viewed, time spent, approximate location, device/browser information, and interactions with the "See Course Details" button (recorded as a cta_click event).

This data is collected, transmitted to, and stored by Google on Google's own servers — not by us. We only view aggregated, anonymized statistics through our Google Analytics dashboard. We do not receive or store the underlying raw data ourselves, and we have no way to identify you personally from it.

Cookies & consent

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept or decline analytics cookies. Google Analytics (and the cookies it sets, such as _ga and _ga_*) only loads after you click "Accept." If you click "Decline," Google Analytics never loads and no data is sent to Google from your visit.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and local storage for this site and reloading the page — the banner will appear again.

Opting out of Google Analytics

Because Google, not us, is the one collecting and storing this data, the ways to control or opt out of it are things you do directly, without needing to contact us:

• Click "Decline" on this site's cookie banner (or clear your browser data to make the banner reappear).
• Install Google's own Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which stops Google Analytics from working on any site you visit.
• If you were signed into a Google account while browsing, review and manage what Google holds about you at myactivity.google.com and adssettings.google.com.

Questions about how this site uses Google Analytics are welcome at hello@tuftingmastery.com — just note we don't hold the analytics data ourselves, so data access/deletion requests need to go to Google.

Third-party services

Beyond Google Analytics (above), this site uses:

• Digistore24 — the payment processor and checkout page for the course. Clicking "See Course Details" takes you to Digistore24, which collects and holds any information you provide there (name, email, payment details) under its own privacy policy. See Digistore24's Privacy Policy.

Legal basis

Where GDPR applies, Google Analytics only runs based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the cookie banner described above.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained by Google according to Google's own retention settings — we do not separately store or retain any analytics data ourselves.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
